A Second Ray
Approach
to the
Yoga of Fiery Synthesis
1. There is a
Second Ray approach to Agni Yoga, as there is a First Ray approach
(partially revealed through the teachings of
Helena Roerich)
and a Third Ray approach (Kalachakra
sadhana).
2. AAB-DK outlines such Second Ray approach and names it the "Technique
of the Presence." However, He makes it very clear that such
"technique" is not a formula
but an attitude... a way of life to develop the intuitive or seventh
sense.
3. VBA was an accepted disciple in a Second Ray Ashram. His Ashramic
teachings in regard to Agni Yoga --worded in terms of profound
attentiveness, serene expectancy and correct adaptability-- fit
perfectly well with DK's preparatory stages of the Technique of the
Presence.
4. According to VBA, the development of the INTUITION --and the
initiatory experience that such development entails-- is a social
responsibility, a world
service.
5. The intuition, like all senses, is developed in nonlinear stages
corresponding to vibratory states of consciousness associated with the
petals of the causal body. The outer tier of petals (7th, 8th,
and 9th) are
activated as the intuition is developed. The mature development of the
7th petal,
named the "Petal of Peace" by VBA and linked to the constellation of Libra,
is associated with the first (planetary) initiation, the Birth
of the Christ Principle in the HEART. Higher octaves of the intuition are
developed to attain the second (8th petal) and the third (9th petal)
initiations, but the "Christ Principle in the HEART" is the foundation of the seventh or intuitive
sense.
6. According to VBA, the
Great Council of Shamballa of 1925
agreed to a "Threefold Hierarchical Project" as part of the Plan to be
implemented by the New Group of World Servers. First, the
realization of the Kingdom of God, SHAMBALLA; second, the revelation of
the creative or mother aspect of the universe, the Deva Kingdom; third,
the constructive use of such creative energies through the seventh ray
of Magic. These three activities coincide with the threefold "division
of labor" (politics, science/education and religion) which, according to
AAB-DK, was agreed upon in that Great Council for the 1925-2025 period.
They can also be mapped to the first, second and third/seventh ray activities
comprising the
Ashram of Synthesis.
7. We are in the third or "revelatory phase" of the New Age teachings "to
be given on a worldwide scale via the radio" (internet/telepathy). The
Technique of the Presence or Agni Yoga is, indeed, a "revelatory
practice" for world service, and the Way to
Shamballa. Agni Yoga is
the practice ground for the Trained Intuitives, as they transition from the
outer Organized Observers to the inner Telepathic Communicators... and
set the stage for the externalization of the innermost KNOWERS of God's
Purpose and the Plan.
